Windmill Blade Log Cabin Quilt. It is easy to see how this quilt pattern got the name Windmill Blades (aka Pineapple Log Cabin) for it truly conveys a whirling motion. The change of color to yellow in the four corners gives it an interesting turn. The outer border is a dark green calico not black as it may appear on some monitors. The quilt is in pristine, unwashed condition. The back is a pieced Bars pattern, often seen in quilts of southeastern Pennsylvania. This quilt is from Lehigh County, Pennsylvania; made in the 1880's. Measurements are 80 inched square. US shipping $35 Courtesy of Stella Rubin StellaRubin.com
