Optician trade sign. Painted wood with cast zinc and tin rimmed eyeglasses suspended from the bottom of the sign. Belton, Texas, last quarter 19th century. Wood Sign: H 11-3/4" W 48-3/8". Eyeglasses: H 4-3/8" W 18". Condition: Excellent original condition. Zinc eyeglasses were probably originally suspended with chain. Currently suspended with braided wire.
