Two American needlework samplers. The first by Elizabeth Heyer, 1820. Frame size: H 21-3/4", W 16-3/8", sight size: H 17-1/4", W 12". The second by Mary Cressey, born 1814 with house, trees and figure. Some staining. Frame size: H 19-3/4", W 18-3/4"; sight size: H 16-1/2", W 14-3/4".
