Mather's Historical Oil Region Views. Titusville, Penn. 1895 Part 1. Includes 12 linen lined photographs (printing-out paper prints) as issued. Parts 2 and 3 were unknown for years and are extremely scarce. Cloth covered boards, in very good condition except for some splits to the spine edges. Lacks 2/3 of front free end sheet. H 10" x W 13-1/4". Mather was a pioneer in photographing the oil fields of Pennsylvania.
