An interesting and eclectic group of autographs and graphics spanning the centuries and the globe! 1) Maria Magdalena/Maddalena (1589-1631).The Grand Duchess of Tuscany (1609-1621). Two page letter dated 4 July 1615. Written for her in official script and signed by her. Wax seal mostly intact. Not translated. H 10" W 7-3/4" Condition: Excellent condition for it's age. Some ink bleed, folds, minor splits, soiling. 2) Sea Terms. Liverpool. With Latitude and Longitude co-ordinates. Unsigned and undated but circa 1800. 2 pp on a single sheet comprising a table of sea terms, starting with "Aback" and ending with "Sheets". H 10" W 8-1/4" Condition: Excellent condition. Some folds, bottom left edge chipped with very slight loss to leading edges to a few letters. 3) N. Buckley. Probably the son of Hugh Buckley, a first settler. Cayuga (NY)August 14, 1812. Four page autograph letter signed. To his brother and sister, with much sad news about the family. The letter mentions his position at the Post Office (he is being encouraged to leave the position) and his home at the tavern. The War is mentioned. H 13" W 8" (a bifolium) Condition: Excellent condition with some ink bleed, folds and a few small splits at folds. 4) 1824 German/Austrian military document. Partially printed. Single page. Not translated. H 13-1/4" W 8-1/2" Condition: Excellent condition with minor issues (folds, stains, splits). 5) Bill of Sale from a Paris art gallery(?). 27 January, 1923. Wiese Fabricans. Receipt to Monsieur Boissiere for the purchase of 2 bracelets and a ring (garnet). Signed by Wiese. With a tax stamp. H 11" W 8-1/2" Condition: Folds and significant splits that were mended with an archival tape. Normal age discoloration. 6) Unidentified signature. Typed letter signed. Nov. 27, 1922. From a poet to Mr. Williams in London. He is sending a copy of his poem"Poverty Grass" H 9-3/4" w7-1-2". Condition: Excellent condition. Folds. A bit age darkened. 7) Autograph letter signed EGC twice. May 28, 1946. To David Low (Cartoonist). Interesting ramblings relating to the British theatre. H 8-1/4" W 5-1/4". Condition: Excellent condition with one very slightly crunched corner, not affecting any text. 8) A.E. Moore (Artist) A small card to "Miss Anthoine" dated Christmas 1906.
