Henry Leach (1809-1885). Dog head with stick. Mounted to the original back panel. Signed with maker stamp on back. Boston, Massachusetts area, circa 1870. Leach was a recognized carver of weathervane molds, ship's figure heads as other ornamental carvings. He was active in the Boston area. Condition: Excellent original condition.
