Portrait of the SteamshipÊCUBA . Oil on canvas. American, late 19th century. The CubaÊ was operated by the Cuba Mail Steamship Co. and was in operation from 1841-1954. TheÊcompanyÊ operated out of New York City. Period, possibly original frame. Inspected under UV light. No restoration noted. Frame size H 30-1/2" W 39-1/2" Canvas size H 23-1/2" W 31-1/2".
