Early cloth doll with hand warmer. American, 19th century. Detailed facial features, including inset shoe button eyes, pinched nose and embroidered mouth on a sculpted, molded face. Velvet outer garments are trimmed in Persian lamb on bonnet, jacket, collar and muff. Dress is made of yellow plaid cotton over layers of original undergarments.
