Framed citizenship document, New York, 1844. A portfolio of 22 Citizenship documents the earliest dating to 1807, the latest to about 1904. The 1807 document for Robert McFall specifically states that he renounces any allegiance "particularly to the United Kingdom of Great Britain & Ireland of whom I was a subject." Most of these are in excellent condition (one with top to bottom split at fold) with typical age darkening, edge splits, soiling, foxing, etrc. (see pics). Together with documents regarding the transportation of Immigrants' Baggage from Ellis Island to NYC and Vicinity. Westcott Express Company is awarded the bid to transport baggage from Ellis Island starting on July 1st, 1902. A few other photos and documents from the 1930-40 period.
