While the document is authentic we cannot verify the authenticity of the signatures in this lot. It is well known that Eugene Field II, in collaboration with Harry Sickles were actively forging signatures in the 1920's and 30's. Field II sometimes added the claim that the item came from his father's Library.
Signatures of Mark Twain (S.L. Clemens), Eugene Field and Frederic Remington. Remington's signature includes a bucking horse ink sketch. Inscription on the back reads, "This original invitation came from the library of my father, Eugene Field Apr 29 - 1935".
