Cheap quality paper and printing. Folding map unfolds to a size of H 16" x W 29". Four colors used to outline areas or text. There are several tears at folds, but map displays well. The map is dated 1857. The book is bound in green cloth with gilt stamping on front cover, blind stamping on the back. H 6" x W 4".The gilt shows wear as expected. The covers show wear and bumps from use. Overall condition is very good. The map is fine with bright colors. An early look at post-war New York.
