Three Willet shorebirds from the same rig. Long Island, New York, Ca 1900. L 12". Well-carved rig mates with raised heart shaped wings and doweled head construction. Shoe button eyes. Condition: Excellent original paint. Some neck filler is missing. Two have original bills about 1 1/2" of the bill of the alert bird is a professional replacement.
