Watercolor on paper of a sailor. Ex Garbisch collection. Ex Whitney Museum. Exhibited at the American Federation of Arts, "101 AMERICAN WATERCOLORS AND PASTELS" 1967-1970. Although the Whitney Museum label dates this work to 1825, we are uncertain of the accuracy of this date. Frame size H 19" W 15-1/2".
