Unusual Two Tiered Painted Slide Top Box. American, 19th century. Each box carved from a single piece of wood. The upper box slides onto the lower box to create a lid. Condition: Original condition. Minor loss to feet on lower box. Fading to one side. L 7-5/8" W 4-1/4" OH 7-3/8".
