Two fine early pantry boxes. New England, 19th century. The first in original red paint with opposing carved fingers. Peg and forged nail construction. D 7-7/8". H 3-5/8". The second in original green paint with peg and forged nail construction. Condition: Excellent. Inspected under UV light. No restoration noted. Maker's stamp on the lid. D 10" H 5-1/4".
