Extremely rare uncut sheet of Bell & Everett campaign Ferrotype, created to make campaign buttons. This example was produced for the campaign against Lincoln/Hamblin. Stamped on plate. "Melainotype Plate For Neff's Pat. 19 Feb. 1859. Other examples noted in Sally Luscomb's book. H 3-1/8", W 4-1/4". Excellent condition. Light rusting to upper right corner and edge.
