Smith, Daniel. The Reformed Botanic and Indian Physician. Utica, NY: 1855 1st edition. Frontis of Skeleton. 8vo. Embossed cloth w/ gilt spine lettering. Cloth is moderately worn, top 1/4" of spine lacks cloth, and bottom of spine chipped. Corners bumped and worn. Light foxing. Scarce. An early American work on the use of plants as medicine as used by Native Americans. Stamped signature of early owner appears on pages throughout, not affecting readability. Fascinatingly written.
