Set of 5 elegant hoop back Windsor chairs. Original green paint with original brown painted seats. The painted seats likely simulated leather upholstered seats of the period. Note that brown paint wraps around the front of the seat. Beautifully matched. Unusually high seat height. Attributed to Abraham Shove, Bristol Country, MA, Ca 1800. H 36-1/4".
