Exceptionally fine fabric folk art doll. Made of a soft, light brown cotton fabric, she has well-crafted,sewn facial features - chain-stitched eyebrows, reverse appliquŽ, inserted eyes with shoe-button eyeballs, stark protruding nose and rad satin stitched mouth. Hair is wool. Clothing includes a blue calico dress with a calico and paisley printed apron. Apron matches mop cap. Hands have stitched down fingers. 3rd quarter 19th c. American.
