By Inspector Thomas Byrnes. NY 1886.433 pp. 4to. Over 200 photogravures of criminals from the late 19th century. Book is complete, but text is separating from binding. Age darkening to pages, some chipping to tops of several pages, but no loss of text. Cover is 3/4 leather with cloth boards. Worn, scuffed, soiled. Spine with split down center. 1" chip from top of spine. Hinges cracked but holding. Needs rebacking, but still presentable and complete.
