Apothecary chest with unusual symmetrical drawer configuration. New England, second quarter of the 19th century. Original gray paint. Most drawers have painted drawer contents inscription on the front. Dovetail and square nail construction . H 36 1/2", W 62 1/2", D 7 3/4". Condition: Fine original condition. Inspected under UV light. Never had a back board. A few drawers had contents inscription modified historically, probably in the 19th cnetury.. L 62-1/2" H 36-3/4" D 7-7/8".
