Chester County, PA needlework sampler wrought by Mary Heyburn (1811-1870) in 1824. Mary was the last of eight children of George Heyburn and Elizabeth Burgess. The Heyburns arrived in America from Yorkshire, England in 1758. This sampler comes with genealogical information. Frame: H 19-1/2" W 23-1/2". Sight: H 16-3/4" W 20-3/4". Condition: Professionally framed. Overall toning, some fading and areas of discoloration. Scattered stain spots and small holes. Collection of Ann Fassnacht.
