Exceptional miniature paint-decorated, bracket base blanket chest. Red, yellow, black, white and gold paint on green, with seashell motifs. Interior painted with a yellow wash, complete with till with drawer. Inscribed on the interior of lid, 'Miss. M. A. Smith'. New England, circa 1830. Condition: Fine original condition.
