Miniature blanket chest with painted scenes. Signed and dated January 11, 1848. Scene on front painted on paper applied to wood. Other scenes appear to be painted directly on the wood. W 9-3/16" D 7" H 7-3/16". Excellent condition with minor losses and imperfections.
