Lot includes 1863 letterhead and 1901 operative surgery cards(2) for Long Island College Hospital. One small 1835 broadside (taped at folds, verso) for election into the State of New Hampshire Medical Society for Hezekiah Eldridge, M.D.), One "Course of 1870 for the Medical School of Maine at Bowdoin College", printed at Brunswick in 1869, (may lack a half title), One 3 pp letter from Alice Pease to her husband in Cincinnati on the letterhead of Zion A Christian, Temperance, and Divine Healing Home, with all the comforts of a first-class hotel. The letter is dated Chicago Aug 12, 1897, and contains news about her visit with her Mother. One pamphlet for the Report of the Executive Committee of the Connecticut Temperance Society...at its Third Anniversary in New-Haven...Middletown, Conn. Printed at the Gazette Office 1832. 39 pp. Another pamphlet, "An Address Delivered Before the Temperance Society at New-Milford...By Rev. Hart Talcott of Warren, Connecticut. Printed by S. Wilmot. 1834. One check from the Asylum for the Chronic Insane, dated Worcester, Mass., June 10, 1884. A few small stains, and small area of sticker residue on verso. One letter written on the letterhead of the Illinois Northern Hospital for the Insane, dated Elgin, July 24 1906. From Frank Sheik(?) to Arthur H Haley who is trying to collect a debt for Sheik. Sheik tells him to "get what you can I have a lot more notes...". One cabinet card photograph of two capped and gowned graduates of some medical/science school. no place, no date, nice condition Sizes: All are housed in H 8-1/2" W11" plastic 3 ring binder sheets. Pickup can be scheduled for Monday through Friday between 9am - 3pm. Pick up appointments begin on Monday, March 13, 2023. We cannot accommodate any pickup without an appointment. Please note that all first-time buyers that wish to pick items up in person must pay with cash or bank check. Purchased items that have been paid for but not picked up or shipped from our auction facility within 30 days of the auction will be stored at a rate of $5 per day per lot. Storage fees must be paid before items are released. There are no exceptions. Items not picked up within 60 days of the auction date will be considered “abandoned” and then become the property of New England Auctions. If you choose to use the shipping company provided through Bidsquare, you will be billed directly through Bidsquare via PAYPAL.
