19th century collection of memorial art and related ephemera.1) Small hand made silk octagonal booklet of hair braids. 14 leaves (not all used). Most have names of members of the King family. Amazing survivor.H 4-3/4" W 3-3/4" Fine condition with normal age wear.2) Hand made hair braidings booklet. 14 leaves (only 6 are used). Disbound but all parts intact. Dampstaining from moisture. Udell family.H 8-1/4" W 6-1/2" 3) Very small hand made and hand stitched booklet of hair braidings. Fisk family Dansville, NY 1840. Mostly used either with hair braids or newspaper clippings. Well used but holding firm. H 4-1/4" W 3-1/2"4) Small hair braiding cased in a daguerreotype case (missing the front cover). Quite attractive.H 2-7/8" W 2-3/8"10 19th century pieces of ephemera. 7 partially printed with an illustration or advertisement. 3 Rewards of Merit. 2 Sewing related. See pics.3 miscellaneous hand worked bits of ephemera, one in German (1822) with a floral border, one drawn and colored flower, one Title for a scrap book dated 1901.1 Hand-In-Heart cut out with stitching and pin-prick decorations. H 2" D 3-1/2".1 small framed thread advertisement "Fast Color No. 5" H 2-1/2 W 2"1 tiny "Keepsake" heart with glass covered 3-D floral center. Heart could be marble. Arrangement and costs of shipping are the responsibility of the buyer. 
New England Auctions does not ship or arrange shipping. 
All shipping is outsourced. All buyers and shippers must come prepared with appropriate packing materials and help for heavy items.  Our staff will not be available to help move heavy items. If payment is made by check, items will be held 7 business days before an item is released for shipping.   
Items can be picked up in person or by a shipper at 14 Business Park Drive - Unit 5, Branford, CT - BY CONFIRMED APPOINTMENT ONLY. Please contact the gallery 24 hours in advance to make an appointment. Pickup can be scheduled for Monday through Friday between 9am - 3pm beginning the Monday after the date of the auction. Please note that all first-time buyers that wish to pick items up in person must pay with cash. 

To help expedite shipping, lots will be released to Village Express after payment has cleared. If you wish to use an alternate shipper, please send an email immediately. You will be required to fill out the NEA shipping release form before the release of your items.

Purchased items that have been paid for but not picked up or shipped from our auction facility within 24 days of the auction will be stored at a rate of $10 per day per lot. Storage fees and late fees must be paid before items are released. There are no exceptions. Items not picked up within 30 days of the auction date will be considered in default and become the property of New England Auctions.
