Good condition, with chipping caused by dry leather. Wear to spines and boards. Corners bumped. Contents toned. Displays OK. Histoire Des Campagnes de 1814 et 1815, en France...Vaudoncourt...Paris...1826 5 volumes. 1/2 leather with paper covers. Binding are holding well despite a fair amount of wear. Some loss to fore edges of boards. Foxing. Three folding maps at the end of volume 5. Some tears, especially to map 2, but they seem complete. Histoire de France...Paris L. Mame, Editeur. 1834. 13 beautifully bound volumes. 3/4 deep blue leather with moire marbled boards and end papers. Illustrated throughout with woodcuts. Bindings in very good condition, spines display beautifully. Rubbing and wear, as expected. Some corners more than others. Also includes Tales of the Camp and Cabinet by Colonel John Montmorency Tucker...London...1844. In Two Volumes. 3/4 brown leather with marbled covers and yellow end papers. Near fine, with light wear to covers and edges.

All shipping is outsourced. All buyers and shippers must come prepared with appropriate packing materials and help for heavy items. Our staff will not be available to help move heavy items. If payment is made by check, items will be held 7 business days before an item is released for shipping.
Items can be picked up in person or by a shipper at 14 Business Park Drive - Unit 5, Branford, CT - BY CONFIRMED APPOINTMENT ONLY. Please contact the gallery 24 hours in advance to make an appointment. Pickup can be scheduled for Monday through Friday between 9am - 3pm beginning the Monday after the date of the auction. Please note that all first-time buyers that wish to pick items up in person must pay with cash.

Purchased items that have been paid for but not picked up or shipped from our auction facility within 21 days of the auction will be stored at a rate of $10 per day per lot for furniture and larger items and $5 per day per lot for smaller items. A moving fee of $25 going into storage and $25 going out of storage will be added. Storage fees and late fees must be paid before items are released. There are no exceptions.
Items not picked up within 60 days of the auction date will be considered in default and become the property of New England Auctions.
