Lot of six collectible European Art books from the 1930's-1950's.

Brueghel. Electr Editrice. Ltd Ed. in marbeled slipcase. Book and case are both a bit fragile with wear and losses. Aldegever, H. Dortmund 1939. VG Some foxing. Hokusai (Willy Boller) Stuttgart 1955. VG Some wear and soiling to covers. Plates are fine. Extravagant Drawings of the Eighteenth Century (Cooper Union Museum) 1950's. Book is fine in ok dust jacket (Split in two at spine with some loss.) Soiled and foxed. Franciscio de Goya: Les Desastres de la Guerre. Editions du Phaidon. Austria 1937. Green cloth. Covers are faded and have some stains. Slight spits at spine. Dessins de Maitres de l'Albertina de Vienne. Librairie Plon. Paris. ca 1936. 19 color reproductions. Dust jacket (some light stains, soiling, chipping, and a small piece missing from the back of the dj). Book is in very good condition . Some plates are tipped in, some are full page.

Smallest: H 10-1/2" W 8"

New England Auctions does not ship or arrange shipping. 
All shipping is outsourced. All buyers and shippers must come prepared with appropriate packing materials and help for heavy items.  Our staff will not be available to help move heavy items. If payment is made by check, items will be held 7 business days before an item is released for shipping.   
Items can be picked up in person or by a shipper at 14 Business Park Drive - Unit 5, Branford, CT - BY CONFIRMED APPOINTMENT ONLY. Please contact the gallery 24 hours in advance to make an appointment. Pickup can be scheduled for Monday through Friday between 9am - 3pm beginning the Monday after the date of the auction. Please note that all first-time buyers that wish to pick items up in person must pay with cash.

All purchases must be picked up from our location within 14 days, no exceptions. Purchased items that have been paid for but not picked up or shipped from our auction facility within 14 days of the auction will be stored at a rate of $10 per day per lot for furniture and larger items and $5 per day per lot for smaller items. A moving fee of $25 going into storage and $25 going out of storage will be added. Storage fees and late fees must be paid before items are released. There are no exceptions.

 


Items not picked up within 60 days of the auction date will be considered in default and become the property of New England Auctions.
