Large wrought iron presentation wedding ladle. Hudson River Valley. Dated 1803 with engraved initials. At the top of sections of the handle are initials E.V.S. within a vase shape with upward extending vines. In the center of the handle H.H. - R.D. within a double heart and the date 1808. At the bottom of the handle within a heart, B.D. with trailing vines. H 23" W 4-3/8" D 1-3/4". Condition: Fine original condition.
