Large redware dog sitting on a coleslaw base. Dog wears a collar with chain and lock. "Rover" is incised on the collar. Attributed to John Bell, Shenandoah Valley, Virginia, circa 1880. H 7-3/4" W 10-1/4" D 6-3/4". Condition: Very good original condition. Some scattered loss to coleslaw ground. Minor base chips.
