Crochet picture by Kate Clayton (Granny) Donaldson (1870-1960). Newspaper clippings about artist attached to back. Kate Clayton Donaldson of Marble, North Carolina, was a pictorial textile folk artist, whose work is included in the American Folk Art Museum and pictured in Allen Eaton's work, Handicrafts of the Southern Highlands published by Dover Publications in 1937. Condition: Excellent condition. Image H 32" W 41-1/2". Unframed. Loosely taped to a piece of Masonite.
