Important large size Goddess of Liberty Weathervane. Cushing and White, Waltham, Massachusetts. Circa 1865. Retains its original oval brass plaque. Molded full bodied copper with fine historic painted and gilded surface. Condition: Excellent condition. Structurally original. A couple of small very old historic bullet hole repairs. Excellent historic mustard-ochre paint and gilding. H 38-3/4" L 27-1/2". Provenance: Fred Giampietro.
