Four drawer chest in old blue paint. Copeland family, Scituate Massachusetts, late18th century. Mid to late 19th century blue paint. Condition: One rear foot face restored. Minor other repairs to a couple of bracket ears. Victorian dark varnish removed. Wooden drawer pulls replaced with appropriate brasses. Blue paint pre-dates the wooden turned pulls that were replaced. Minor paint abrasions and imperfections. W 39-1/2" D 18-1/4" H 41".
