Group of 5 porringers. Porringer by Samuel E. Hamlin, Providence RI. 1801-1856 J-163 mark. D 5-3/8". Provenance: Jon Gibson Pewter porringer. Samuel Hamlin Jr. J-163 with modified New York handle. ca. 1801-1856, Providence RI. D 4-1/2". Provenance: Melvyn Wolf. Pewter porringer by Danforth, Hartford, CT 1795-1816. J-107 mark on handle. D 5".. Crown handle pewter porringer unmarked. Provenance: Jon Gibson 8-16-2016 who alleged this is 18th century Boston and the handle mold was prior to having markers initial cast handle. D 5-1/4". Porringer unmarked American with old English handle. C.G. owners mark on back of handle. D 5". Provenance: Antiques Association, W. Townsend, MA. D 5-1/4". Condition: Excellent condition. All buyers and shippers must come prepared with appropriate packing materials and help for heavy items. Our staff will not be available to help move heavy items. If payment is made by check, items will be held 7 business days before an item is released for shipping.
Items can be picked up in person or by a shipper at 14 Business Park Drive - Unit 5, Branford, CT - BY CONFIRMED APPOINTMENT ONLY. Please contact the gallery 24 hours in advance to make an appointment. Pickup can be scheduled for Monday through Friday between 9am - 3pm BEGINNING THE MONDAY AFTER THE DATE OF THE AUCTION. Please note that all first-time buyers that wish to pick items up in person must pay with cash.
To help expedite shipping, lots will be released to Village Express after payment has cleared. If you wish to use an alternate shipper, please send an email immediately. You will be required to fill out aN NEA Shipping Release Form prior to release or your lots.

Purchased items that have been paid for but not picked up or shipped from our auction facility within 24 days of the auction will be stored at a rate of $5 per day per lot. Storage fees and late fees must be paid before items are released. There are no exceptions. Items not picked up within 30 days of the auction date will be considered in default and become the property of New England Auctions.
