Fine decorated miniature blanket chest. Circa 1830. Fine condition with original paint. Probably New England. Hinges are replaced and wood replaced to accommodate new hinges. Thin 1/8" strip to back of lid due to shrinkage, easily removable.. Repair to hinges was done on the inside of lid only, does not effect the original decoration. Lid has old crack. See detail images.
