Fine early miniature portrait of a baby with bonnet.Appears to be painted on bone backed by paperboard. Second quarter of the 19th century. Leather case appears original. Excellent condition. No restoration or damage noted. Slight scuff or fade to upper right. Size of portrait H 2-3/4" W 2-1/4".
