Original period clothing , including fine layers of underclothing, a cotton dress made of tiny, sprigged cotton fabric, gathered at neck and waist with loomed tape. Wooden face is carved and painted, and Victorian hairstyle is deeply carved with grooves, and has a carved bun at the neck in the back. She wears perfectly fitted leather shoes and handmade stockings. American or English, 2nd quarter 19th century. H 26".
