Early candle table. American, circa 1700. Oak shaft with walnut legs. Peg, mortise and rose head nail construction. Octagonal pine top. Traces of red and black paint history. Condition: 19th century campaign to reinforce areas with square head nails. Old patch repair in top. Remnants of red and black paint. H 26-1/2" W 22-1/2" Top W 15-1/8" D 14-3/8".
