Early three drawer blanket chest. New England, late 18th century. Early, probably original red paint with a beautiful dry surface. Three drawers with 2 false drawers. Double-arch molding detail. Rosehead and forged nail construction. Brasses are modern. Case W 38" D 18-1/4" H 38-1/4".
