Black cloth doll with embroidered features (including a turned down mouth),fringe of astrachan hair and mop cap. Period appropriate, 2-piece red and white cotton frock with some undergarments. Imperfect fit suggests the dress is not original. Original red woolen shoes. American, 3rd quarter 19th century.H 18".
