Early portrait of Andrew Jackson. Circa 1840. Oil on unstretched canvas. Canvas size H 14" W 9-13/16". Sight size H 13-1/4" W 9-1/2" Frame size H 18-1/4" W 14-1/8". Condition: Inspected under UV light. No restoration noted. Frame is 19th century but no original. Painting predates the frame.
