Eagle weathervane. Earlier example of this classic form, circa 1875. Molded and leaded copper. Arrow has earlier cast iron tip. Beautifully oxidized verdigris surface over gilt and yellow paint base. Missing lower arrow feather, but well balanced visually. Exceptional untouched surface. On wooden mount. 15 3/4" long x 14 1/2" wide x 10" high. US shipping $45. COurtesy of Steve Smoot
