Group of 11 blood letting glass cups. Four are fitted into a wooden base. Base with plaque Eimer & Amend New York. Possibly for laboratory or pharmacy use. ÒFounded by Bernard Amend and Carl (Charles) Eimer, in 1851. The firm was an important importer of European laboratory supplies, serving Thomas Edison, E. R. Squibb, Charles Steinmetz, Henry Ford and many other American manufacturers.
