Lot of 5 surgical instrument catalogs from across America. 1. Codman & Shurtleff, Inc. Makers of Surgeons Instruments. Catalog 54. Boston. 1954. 391 pp. H 11-1/4" W 8-3/4". Full brown pebbled cloth, embossed on front cover. Aside from some light marks on the covers and some light foxing on the endsheets, the condition is excellent. Profusely illustrated with line engravings and photographs. 2. Charles Lentz & Sons. Illustrated Catalogue of Surgical and Scientific Instruments, Physicians' and Hospital Supplies,...Eigth Edition. Philadelphia. 1924. 420 pp plus 104+ pp preliminary material, plus the 30 pp revised price list. 8vo. Full purple cloth covers embossed in white. Some loss to embossing. Top of covers and spine darkened. with minor loss to cloth. Binding is tight and sound, profusely illustrated, and in excellent condition. 3. Feick Bro's...Surgical Instruments, Artificial Limbs, Deformity Apparatus...Pittsburgh. n.d. ca.1891. 328 pp. 8vo. Full brown cloth embossed front cover. Overall very good, with some light wear, bumped corners, mild soiling. One signature slightly pulled. Owner's signature and date on front fly leaf. "A.M. Evans, M.D. Aug. 24th 1891." Wonderfully illustrated throughout, including one page of Veterinary Tools. Scarce. 4. Crolius, Tucker & Allen Co. Illustrated Catalog of Surgical Instruments, Galvanic and Faradic Batteries,...Artificial Limbs, Deformity Apparatus, Trusses...Etc. Minneapolis,Minn. n.d. (ad dated 1891). 344 pp.8vo. Full green cloth cover, embossed in black. Cover worn and soiled. Edge wear, top of spine w/ small tear. Rear cover with spots of cloth missing, perhaps due to some drips of acidic liquid? Also one larger spot on spine, about 1" dia. removed exposing spine. Contents mostly fine, save for the last few pp with a small dark spot, which starts under one of the spots on the back cover. Profusely illustrated. 5. Wm. H. Armstrong & Co. Catalogue...Surgical Instruments, Orthopaedic Appliances and Hospital Supplies. Third Edition. Indianapolis. n.d. ca.1890. 603 pp. 8vo. Full brown cloth with embossed borders in black and title info gilt. Minor wear, bumps and wrinkles, inside hinge on back cover is cracked, but overall a very presentable binding. Contents mostly excellent, but top half of page 599 has been cut out, probably an illustration. Front cover embossing includes the Agents name and address: "D.E. Prall & Co., Agents, Saginaw, Mich."

Purchased items that have been paid for but not picked up or shipped from our auction facility within 30 days of the auction will be stored at a rate of $5 per day per lot.
