Guaranteed Authentic. Very rare, AL Jolson Theatrical Minstrel Poster , 1908-1909 Al Jolson - Lew Dockstader and His Minstrels. Copyright 1908, The U.S. Lithograph Co. Russell Morgan Print, Cincinnati & New York. H 41", W 28". Included is an advertising banner fragment that was attached to the poster. Excellent condition. Professionally framed. Conservation Report: Remove labels and stickers from the back. Remove the tattered and incomplete banner attached to the bottom of the poster (included in this lot). Lighten foxing and stains improving on the overall appearance. There are snipes at the top of the poster (just under "LEW" - on the left side and under "RELS" of Minstrels on the right side) -linen back to flatten and stabilize. Restoration and blend paper loss along the margins and at the top of the image. Restore pigment loss to the tears, folds and creases.
