1) Flower Pictures by Elise Polko. Translated from the German by S.W. Lander. Hardcover with illustrations. D. Appleton and Company, New York, 1861. No dust jacket. Flower bird sticker glued on first cover page. Condition: Fair, Foxing and wear on edges, water marks. H 6-3/4" W 5-1/8" D 1/2". 2) Wild Life Under the Equator. Narrated for Young People by Paul Du Chaillu. 1870. Hardcover with numerous illustrations 30+ Black and White. Condition: Loose binding. A few pages have small chips in side. Typical aging to edges. H 7-1/2" W 5-1/2" D 1". 3) Gardening in Ceylon by Count De Mauny-Talvande. 1921 Published by H.W. Cave & Co., Colombo. 8 Illustrations. Condition: Some minor looseness to binding inside, a few creases, page edges yellowed at outside. Binding is without dust jacket, spine is sun discolored. H 10-1/8" W 7-5/8" D 7/8". 4) Citrus Products Vol I and Vol II. Field Museum of Natural History Publication 238, Botanical Series., August 19, 1926. Condition: Wear and tear on outside of covers and binding. H 9-1/2" W 6-3/8" D 1". 5) The Book of Appraisals of Towns of New Spain, Spanish edition. El Libro de Las Tasaciones de Pueblos de la Nueva Espana, Siglo XVI, Prologue de Francisco Gonzalez de Cossio. Archivo General De La Nacion, Mexico. Printed in Mexico. Condition: Pages still remain intact and uncut - to read the book pages need to be torn. Remains in original folio state. Outside cover has some water damage lower left by spine, spine binding has some loss. Inside of book has small water stain first 40 pages 2" x 1" at first and slowly becomes smaller. Otherwise clean. H 9-1/4" W 6-1/4" D 1-3/8". 6) The Travel Diary of Peter Tolstoi - a muscovite in early modern Europe. Language: Russian edition.1992. Hardcover. Condition: Good, clean pages somewhat yellowed from kind of paper used and age. H 9-1/2" W 6-3/4" D1". CT sales tax of 6.35% will be charged for in person pick up unless buyer holds a valid resale certificate and has submitted a signed CT Sales and Use Tax Form prior to pick up. Sales to out of state buyers that are picked up by the buyer's representative will be charged Connecticut sales tax unless the representative is a licensed commercial shipper and provides a Bill of Lading at pick up. We recommend that potential buyers contact Village Express to receive a shipping estimate prior to bidding.
