Gemologist examined exceptional 19th century antique 18K yellow gold Serpent Mourning Pendant/brooch with diamonds, emeralds, garnets and rubies. One small loop was attached on one side using silver solder. Pendant/Brooch details: There are 9 rectangular and oval faceted emeralds with an estimated total weight of 1.10 cts five of which are chipped. The color is bG 5/5 - medium strong bluish green and are lighly included (L2). There are 21 Peruzzi and rose cut diamonds with an estimated total weight of .70 cts. The color is noted as I-J and clarity range from SI to I. Four are chipped. There are round cabochon garnets with an estimated total weight of .10 Cts. The color is red and clarity is moderately included (M1). There is one round cabochon ruby with an estimated weight .03 cts with the color of red and the clarity is lightly included (L2). Dangle Details: There are three oval faceted shaped emeralds with a total estimated weight of .60 Cts. The clarity is lightly included (L2) with a color of bG 5/5 - medium strong bluish green. One is chipped and one is abraded. There are 6 rose cut and old mine cut diamonds with a total estimated weight of .23Cts. The clarity is SI to I and color IJ. Three are chipped.
